Prescription Drug Insurance Plans
You can add optional Prescription Drug Insurance to any of the three basic health insurance plans. Two choices are available; Prescription Drug and Enhanced Prescription Drug.
Easy to understand and use - with both plans you pay only $4 per eligible perscription. Both plans come with a GMS Prescription Drug Card. Using the card means no forms to fill out or submit - your participating pharmacist will swipe your card. You’ll pay the $4 deductible per eligible perscription and the pharmacy will bill GMS for the rest!
- Important:
- Prescription drug plans come in a variety of flavours. The GMS plans are FORMULARY plans. The single best thing you can do is remind your doctor that you have a formulary plan when he or she writes your prescription. This should ensure that you are prescribed drugs that are covered under your plan.
- Both drug plans are subject to a 30 day waiting period. Some drug exclusions may apply.
