Dental Insurance Plans

You may add a dental insurance plan to any of the three base Health Insurance Plans.

With this plan you will receive a GMS Dental Card. Simply present your dental plan card to your participating dentist and they will automatically bill the insurance company directly for covered benefits.

The dental plan covers routine basic services as well as major dental services like crowns, bridges and dentures.

  • Oral Exams
  • Scaling
  • Polishing
  • Fillings
  • Uncomplicated Extractions
  • Endodontics
  • Periodontics
  • Oral Surgery
  • Repairs to Dental Appliances
  • 1st year: 75% to a max. $500/person
  • 2nd year: 80% to a max $750/person; max is combined Basic and Major.
  • 3rd year+: 80% to a max $1000/person; max is combined Basic and Major
    Major Services

  • Crowns
  • Bridges
  • Dentures
  • Gold Inlays and Onlays
  • 1st year: No coverage for Major services.
  • 2nd year: 50% to a max $750/per person; max is combined with Basic and Major
  • 3rd year+: 50% to a max of $1000/person; max is combined with Basic and Major

Dental coverage is subject to a 3 month waiting period. If you are converting from another GMS plan or from a plan with comparable benefits at another insurance company then this waiting period may be waived. Please read the policy wording for full details.
